Jim Steiner was born in Lima, Ohio in 1940. He attended Miami of Ohio and graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1965. Jim entered the United States Air Force in 1965 and served in Korea and Phoenix, Arizona. He married Janet McGreevey in 1967, completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbus Children’s Hospital in 1969 and spent a year in Switzerland as a Pediatric Dentist at the Schulzahnklinik in Basel. He joined the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1970 and retired after thirty-six years. He is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Cincinnati. His first book was Immaculata on Mount Adams – A 150 Year History, published in 2010.
